Vitamin C
Why?
Ascorbic acid is a strong reducing agent → it reduces Cu²⁺ → destabilizes GHK-Cu → kills its activity.
Safe alternatives: Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (SAP) or Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) if pH is correct, but not recommended together.
Low pH / Acidic Products (AHA/BHA)
Examples:
- Glycolic acid
- Lactic acid
- Mandelic acid
- Salicylic acid (BHA)
- Azelaic acid (slightly acidic)
Why?
Acids break peptide bonds, destabilize GHK-Cu, and mess with the copper complex.
Retinol (both Retinol + Retinaldehyde + Retinoic Acid)
Why?
Retinoids → highly reactive, irritation-prone
GHK-Cu → healing peptide
Using both at the same time ruins the main benefit of GHK-Cu: reducing inflammation.
Use them separated (morning = GHK-Cu / evening = Retinol).
Benzoyl Peroxide
Why?
It’s a strong oxidizer → destroys peptides → oxidizes copper → inactivates GHK-Cu.
Strong Exfoliants
Same issue as acids:
- TCA
- Enzyme exfoliators (high concentration)
- High-dose PHA
They destabilize peptides.
Niacinamide 10%+ (ONLY high doses)
Low-dose Niacinamide (2–5%) is fine.
High-dose Niacinamide (10% + booster serums) can change the charge environment, affecting copper binding.
Safe rule:
Stick to 2–5% Niacinamide if using with GHK-Cu.
What if you weren't the problem?
Most anti-aging products force your skin to work.
Retinol irritates. Acids peel. Your skin fights back.
But your skin knows how to repair itself.
It did it for decades.
It just needs the signal it stopped making at 30.
That signal is GHK-Cu.
You deserve to recognize yourself again.
Not younger for other people.
Not perfect.
Just YOU.
The version in your head.
The one that should be in the mirror.

Irritation or burning
From people who were done hoping
You have questions. We get it
Will it sting?
Will it sting?
No. GHK-Cu is the only clinically proven anti-aging ingredient that doesn't irritate. No burning. No peeling. No "purging period" where your face looks worse before it looks better.
If your barrier is already wrecked from retinol, acids, or over-exfoliating — this actually repairs it while it works. Safe for sensitive, reactive, and rosacea-prone skin.
Can I use it with other actives?
Can I use it with other actives?
Yes — but not all at once.
✅ Pairs well with: Hyaluronic Acid, low-dose Niacinamide (2–5%), ceramides, peptide moisturizers, SPF.
❌ Don't apply at the same time as: Pure Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), AHAs/BHAs (glycolic, lactic, salicylic), Retinol, Benzoyl Peroxide. These break the copper-peptide bond and kill the serum's activity — you'd literally be paying for nothing.
Simple fix: Use L'Oravé in the morning. Use your retinol or acids at night. Done.
When will I see results?
When will I see results?
Real answer — not the "7 days!" lie most brands sell you:
- Week 2–4: Skin feels calmer, more hydrated. Barrier starts rebuilding.
- Week 4–8: Visible firmness. Fine lines soften. Texture smoother.
- Week 12+: Measurable collagen increase, deeper wrinkle reduction, denser skin.
This isn't a filter in a bottle. It's cellular regeneration — and that takes time. Anyone promising overnight miracles is the reason you stopped trusting skincare in the first place.
Is it safe?
Is it safe?
Completely. GHK-Cu is a peptide your body already makes on its own — you just produce less of it every decade after 30. All we're doing is putting it back.
Backed by 50+ years of peer-reviewed research and 60+ clinical studies. No irritation. No sun sensitivity. No barrier damage. Safe for every skin type — from reactive to resilient.
